One design problem

Begin with
the experience.

Counterflow does not design audio equipment first and style it afterwards. Sound, form, materials, craftsmanship and the living environment are conceived together.

Our starting point

“Technology matters most when it disappears into the experience.”

Four principles

01

Sound without enclosure.

Open-baffle radiation is not merely a technical choice. It is the acoustic and visual foundation of the 3:15.

02

Form with purpose.

Proportion, depth and surface are allowed to emerge from the architecture instead of concealing it.

03

Control without intrusion.

Active amplification and DSP do their work quietly, preserving the simplicity of the listening experience.

04

Character without noise.

The object should hold a room with confidence, not compete with it for attention.

The result

An object rewarding to live with—and to hear.
